  Harold J. Steudel
Harold Steudel, Ph.D., P.E., is Managing Partner of Steudel and Mann LLC, an international consulting company established to provide quality and productivity solutions to industry and business.

Dr. Steudel has a Ph.D. in Mechanical/Production Engineering with a minor in Statistics, and draws upon over 20 years of consulting and management experience in implementing leading-edge techniques for quality and productivity improvement. In addition, Dr. Steudel holds the position of Emerson Electric Professor in Total Quality in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he is active in research and teaching, and serves as the convener for the Quality Engineering Program.

Dr. Steudel has developed numerous assessment tools, guidelines, and other quality systems elements for both Malcolm Baldrige and ISO 9000, is a certified quality systems lead auditor under the Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB), and has met the requirements for qualification to conduct audits and assessments to QS-9000. He also has over 40 published papers, and is the author of the book "Manufacturing in the Nineties: How to Become a Mean, Lean, World-Class Competitor."




  Terry Mann
Terry Mann, RABQSA QMS Provisional Auditor and ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, is a partner of Steudel and Mann LLC and is active in assisting companies in the implementation of ISO 9000-based quality management systems (including ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 13485) and ISO 14001 environmental management systems through his consulting, training, and documentation development support.

Terry is also an instructor and speaks on quality and engineering-related topics, including ISO Standards, Six Sigma, operations management, statistical process control, cellular manufacturing, facilities layout, and measurement systems analysis for the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

He holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) and an M.S. degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
